3 tips for students going into their placement

• Figure out what you want to do by the end of school. You have 2.5 years of being exposed to things to latch on to. Lots of time to figure out what you like, at least.
• Remember why you started. After your brain explodes from all the classes and options you’re given in career paths, remember what made you apply to Film and Broadcast in the first place and follow that.
• Whatever you end up doing for a placement, shine. Do it heart and soul. Stick out and be a person people remember – in a good way. Get involved, be passionate, give it all.
