Most recently Kobana collaborated with sometime studio partner Yane3dots for a stellar single on Nikko.Z’s Dopamine Music. For his ‘A Long Road’ interpretation Kobana has taken that dreamy vibe from the original and put his own clustered kaleidoscopic spin on it. Anchored by a dubby, funk-filled groove the dance floor appeal is quite strong. Amber’s vocal has been given an ethereal pass which is lovely but ultimately it’s the unpredictable storyboard of luminous keys which really makes this so appealing. Beautiful work from Kobana.”
