Last week a small awards banquet was held for our College and I won the Best Editing Award for my work on Songs About Dying. Because it is being submitted to various festivals, I’m not at liberty to share the link just yet. It also won Best Directed and Best 5th Semester Film for Centennial College.

Synopsis:

This under-20 minute short tells the story of Ellie, a twenty something hipster who creates songs from local obituaries.When her estranged grandfather passes away Ellie must retun home to her distant & dysfunctional family.
