FLOH, Cult Status & CODA Toronto present…

Two of the most brilliant minds in the industry make their way across the ocean for a very special night with us. FLOH welcomes N’to and Worakls (both playing live sets) to CODA with their signature mind twisting blends of techno, minimal and progressive. The night also includes live art installations and creative special effects.

N’to was born in Marseille in 1985. His love story with music started in his early childhood with his parents icons. He started learning guitar when he was ten years old and could never give up making music since then.
After beeing a 70’s rock lover for years, one day, he discovered something he never heard before, that was Underworld (everything everything). This masterpiece of techno music opened him to techno and electronic musics. Since 2004 N’to produces his own electro music, while he never stopped making all other kinds of music.
Influenced by minimal and techno artists such as James Holden, Extrawelt and Stephan Bodzin, his electronic working is recognizable by his using of smoothy melodies surrounded by efficient minimal rhythms.
He also composes more hip/trip hop and accoustic music.

23 year old French whiz kid, Worakls is one of these artists whose music is organic. Stemming from musicians’ family, he learned piano from an early age. Having studied at an academy, his knowledge goes beyond the electronics, and allows him to create compositions which can’t be defined by a style. His music is powerful, dreamlike and sophisticated. It draws its strength from the synthesis of a multitude of kinds and periods. As if Mozart and Rolling Stones had been made an appointment some years later.
